First, thank you.  Many of our friends and family contacted me via phone, email, text or Facebook to let me know that they were sending positive thoughts my way and prayers aboveThank you.  I knew that with so many people on our side that everything would be okay, it had to be okay.  Thank you.  You are my prayer warriors.

'When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand.  The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.'  ~Henri Nouwen

He's okay.  My dad is going to be okay!  I write that with such relief; my heart is lifted, lighter.  They did another procedure yesterday to stop and restart his heart, which we were assured was not as dramatic as it sounds, and since then his heart has regained its rhythm and is back in sync.  They confirmed that there was no damage to his heart muscle.  He is still in ICU until they can move him to another room, but thankfully, he is not on any machines.  We have not been able to hear his voice yet, though we have spoken via email and to Nong.  He emailed that he would call as soon as he is moved to another room.  (Patience is not my best virtue!)

'The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold... In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.' ~ Psalm 18:2-6

Thank you, prayer warriors.
