This is pure awesomeness.   I applaud this mother.

For speaking out.  For letting her child be a child and have dreams.  For being kind to people who are mean.   

It makes me sad, and angry, that this child knew that he may be ridiculed at such a young age.  That the ridicule came from adults and not his peers.  It's a cruel world.  Our children should NOT have to navigate it alone.

Talk to your child tonight.  Hug them a little tighter.  You don't know what they're facing alone.
